Who can access it
- Faculty assigned to the class: enter, save and finalize grades within the grading window.
- Registrar and admin: any class, any time (they are not limited by the grading window). Only they can unfinalize.
- Other staff cannot open a class they are not assigned to.
How to access it
- Faculty: My classes at
/faculty/classes, then open a class (/faculty/classes/followed by the class number). - Registrar:
/registrar/classlists, then open a class.

Important fields/actions
There are two grading periods: midterm and finals. Finalizing goes in stages: midterm first, then finals.
Validation or restrictions
- Faculty can only edit while the term's grading window for that period is open, or while an extension has been given for that class.
- Finalizing is refused if any student has no grade for the period.

⚠️ Known Issue
Existing grades are not overwritten by Save (KI-05), and the Print button in the class viewer points to a missing address (KI-07). See Known Issues.
